Excellence in education is when we do everything that we can to make sure they become everything that they can.’

A very warm welcome to our school.

Thank you for taking the time to view our website. We hope it will provide a little window into our world and allow you to see the many amazing things we enjoy every day.

We are a strong team at HGPS, who aim to be a supportive and caring partner in your child’s journey through school. We value the relationships we have with parents, families and the local community and by working together, we hope to provide the very best start in life for your child.

As facilitators of learning, we all hold the future in our hands. Our vision, our aspirations, our actions will determine that future. Through imagination and inspiration, through challenge and creativity our children will become the dreamers and innovators of tomorrow.

At High Green Primary School, our whole ethos is based on that vision and understanding. Through the opportunities we create, we aim for each child to develop and grow up as competent, confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body, and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society.

At HGPS, our four core principles help to bind together our vision and ethos and ensure that the children remain at the very heart of everything we do.

HOLISTIC    EMPOWERMENT   FAMILY & COMMUNITY    RELATIONSHIPS

As a ‘Woodland School’ we value outdoor learning, not only to promote imagination and creativity but also to support health and mental well-being. Our most treasured asset is the range of different outdoor spaces; woodland, field, secret garden, allotments.

These spaces are enjoyed on a regular basis for a range of activities, including Forest School.

Checkout the Woodland School Page to see some of the wonderful opportunities our children have experienced.
